Yesterday we RUN: Tomorrow we will FLY

How do we sum up the past 3 weeks in one word?

RUN

We have been running here and there and it felt endless until today. RUN: because when that moment we felt giving up or the vision is fogging up, we RUN to HIM who is our tower, Jesus, the name we can trust.

2 weeks ago, I got my citizenship in Indy and it was followed by a trip to Chicago the following day for my dual citizenship.

And then last week, we made another trip to Chicago to apply for my passport and I got it within 3 hours. [Glad I didn’t pay $600+  some dollars to get it done online]

Back in Warsaw, while I work from my in-law’s home, Tim has to run here and there to bring stuffs in Goodwill or give a bin-ful of stuffs to our friends that we realized we cannot take with us (there are still some left at my in-law’s house :(). It felt overwhelming and at times exhausting. But it also teaches us to take heart and BE STILL…because in all these, HE IS with us. How comforting it is, that we felt the power of the Holy Spirit through the people praying for us and the situations we are in. WE RUN to HIM our Lord and Savior when we step in the chaos of life and realized that He is the one in control.

Tomorrow we will FLY

The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. – Proverbs 18:10

Last Sunday was our last Sunday with our church family and it was a bittersweet dinner. Bitter because we have to say goodbye and sweet because we had waffles for dinner…just kidding! (although we really had waffles n’ chicken)

But it is definitely a sweet goodbye party, celebrated by the pouring of prayers and support our church, our family and friends have given us. We will keep everyone posted on our next adventure as we dip our feet in the field, all the way to the growing and nurturing of souls.
