It was interesting waking up for the first time in a new country. At first, I thought it was all just a dream. When I heard the rooster crowing and the sound of birds I (Tim) had never heard before, I knew we were not in the States. I think Chie and I both felt a sense of relief of finally making it here, while at the same time feeling so excited about the Lord bringing us back here.
Our first day consisted of spending time with family, while at the same time processing that we just moved to another continent. It was so encouraging to see our family so supportive of our move and so spiritually uplifting. It was great reconnecting with our family and attending our newest nephews dedication. Overall, the day filled us with a lot of joy and anticipation about the road ahead!
Yesterday, I couldn’t help, but notice Caleb looking out the window. He seemed so curious about this new place he had just arrived to. It is interesting for us to see a new country through the eyes of a child. In his eyes I think, he was now in another world. After he looked out the window, he smiled. I think he approves of the move we just made. The kid’s, with the exception of a cold shower, are adapting very well to their new surroundings.
In Christ Jesus our Lord,
Tim
